M: I need you to go online and find the most recent status of the ability of Amazon slash Alexa to work with the app called AnyList.

G: Yes — AnyList still works with Amazon Alexa as of August 2026, but the integration is degraded, and there is currently an Amazon-side bug affecting it.
The history matters because there are really three different states of the integration:
There is a workaround, though. The AnyList skill itself remains live in Amazon's Alexa Skills store right now. Amazon describes it as supporting commands such as “Alexa, ask AnyList to add apples to my grocery list,” as well as accessing AnyList meal plans and recipes. citeturn0search5
So the short version is:
Alexa → AnyList still exists. Alexa-list → AnyList synchronization does not. And the surviving “Ask AnyList…” method is currently somewhat unreliable because of an unresolved Alexa problem.
If you're setting it up now, you enable the AnyList Alexa skill, link your AnyList account, and then select which AnyList lists Alexa is allowed to access. citeturn0search3

The important distinction, if you're wondering whether it's worth setting up again, is that it hasn't returned to the old seamless behavior. You still need the “ask/tell AnyList” phrasing, and right now even that can occasionally fail.
