2026-07-14 17:56:45 EDTM: name the pokemon regions by order of
introduction; that is, when their unique creatures were added to the
Pokedex.
G: [Non-text content:
reasoning_recap; content_type=reasoning_recap]
G: By the order in which each
region’s new Pokémon species were introduced to the National
Pokédex:
- Kanto — Generation I
- Johto — Generation II
- Hoenn — Generation III
- Sinnoh — Generation IV
- Unova — Generation V
- Kalos — Generation VI
- Alola — Generation VII
- Galar — Generation VIII
- Hisui — Generation VIII, introduced after Galar in
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
- Paldea — Generation IX
A few qualifications:
- Hisui is ancient Sinnoh, but it introduced distinct
new Pokémon such as Wyrdeer, Kleavor, and Ursaluna, so it belongs after
Galar by introduction date.
- Kitakami and the Terarium at Blueberry
Academy introduced additional Pokémon during Generation IX, but
they generally are not treated as full numbered regions comparable to
Kanto or Paldea.
- Places such as the Sevii Islands, Orre, Fiore, Almia,
Oblivia, Pasio, and Lental do not have their
own newly introduced species, so they do not appear in this
Pokédex-based ordering.
