G: The short answer is: not natively, at least not through Spotify's own CarPlay interface. Spotify supports synchronized lyrics on the iPhone app, but those lyrics are generally not exposed in the standard CarPlay player. citeturn0search1

However, there are now a couple of possibilities depending on what you're running:

• If you're on iOS 26: Apple added support for CarPlay widgets and Live Activities. A few third-party apps (such as Dynamic Lyrics/Lyrify) use those features to display synchronized lyrics on the CarPlay screen while Spotify plays in the background. They aren't part of Spotify itself, but they do work for many people. citeturn0search4turn0search5

• If you're on iOS 18 or earlier: There isn't an official solution. Your options are basically:

  • Read lyrics on the iPhone itself (mounted if appropriate).
  • Use an unofficial jailbreak/TrollStore solution (not something I'd recommend for most people).
  • Switch to Apple Music, which has built-in lyric support on compatible versions of CarPlay. citeturn0reddit15turn0reddit14

Since I know you're using an iPhone, can I ask one thing?

Are you already on iOS 26, or are you still on iOS 18? That determines whether the new widget-based workaround is available to you.
