Like, I haven't seen any for the rest of the year, and in the last three days, I've found three ticks. I don't know if that actually is relevant to what we're talking about here, just making the observation. But it does not appear to be dry and dusty. From what you suggested, it could be scorch, but I think I'd have to do more of an explicit watching of the various angles that it gets hit in order to really go in that direction. I don't know if the branches look healthy, but they don't give any kind of indication that they're unhealthy. I want to say that it might have something to do with moisture simply because it looks like the leaves on the bottom are more likely to be healthy than the ones on top, with the only issue on that line being that it also seems like the leaves on the... side towards the house are also more likely to be scorched than the ones towards the forest, so it's more like there's a multiple quadrant or multi-axis probability thing going on there, meaning that it might be something, you know, like a combination of needing a little bit of extra water or maybe even just a little bit of extra dampening or protection against the sun during the hottest part of the day. There's even a couple of them that are still green at the ends, although a couple of those have been kind of scorched themselves at the end. So whether anything grows back or not this year, I get your point about establishing roots. I just would like to know how I can tell if a second challenge arises or something like that would be a good way of putting it. Right now we're trying to get it through a harsh weight of the first year so it can enjoy the second one, and I need to know how I can ascertain if it starts going into further distress. Also, please go online and check the weather for the last couple weeks to see what the precipitation has been like. Let's go a little more precise here. Not just in 23103, but near Hockett Road.
