M: I'm looking to increase my air fryer capacity in terms of size and accessibility. Currently, we are working with a Gourmia, spelled G-O-U-R-M-I-A, digital air fryer. I think the model is a GAF-858. I'd like to get something with a little bit higher capacity in terms of width and preferably something with a French door or other front-loading version, because I think my mother is avoiding it due to it involving more lifting than she's capable of. That sounds weird, but she's short with a bad back, so actually getting inside it and hefting things around makes sense as being something that keeps her from trying it. However, I am not well-versed in the quality and reviews and all that of the various makes and models. I would like you to go online and see if you can find me a few recommendations based on what I've said, particularly focusing on the ability to front load and increasing the size. I'm looking for something simple and reliable and preferably easy to use.

G: Your current Gourmia GAF858 is an 8-quart, top-loading basket unit (about 15.8" deep × 11.6" long × 11.7" high). citeturn1search2
So if the goal is more width + easier access for a shorter person with a bad back, you’re basically looking for an air-fryer “oven” with a front door (ideally French doors).

The short list (what I’d actually start with)

If you want to stay in the same brand ecosystem

“Omission” you should consciously consider (not a no, just a tradeoff)

Front-loading air-fryer ovens usually have more capacity but can be a little less ‘jet-engine crispy’ than a basket air fryer unless you use the right tray, don’t overcrowd, and rotate. If your #1 goal is “maximum crisp per minute,” keep a basket unit around and add the oven-style unit as the “big + accessible” machine.

Two quick “don’t regret it later” checks

日本語(にほんご): 前(まえ)から 開(あ)く オーブン型(がた)は 背中(せなか)に やさしい — A front-opening oven-style unit is easier on your back.
日本語(にほんご): 先(さき)に 台(だい)の サイズ を 測(はか)って ね — Measure the counter space first.

If you tell me your max countertop width/depth (even rough), I’ll narrow these down to the best 2–3 that fit without turning the kitchen into Tetris.
