G: A Dirty Shirley is basically a grown-up version of a Shirley Temple.
Classic Shirley Temple = lemon-lime soda (or ginger ale) + grenadine + maraschino cherry.
Dirty Shirley = same thing, but with vodka added.

Typical recipe:

• 2 oz vodka
• 6 oz lemon-lime soda (e.g., Sprite or 7UP)
• Splash of grenadine (about ½ oz)
• Garnish: maraschino cherry and/or lime wedge
